This serie is dedicated to flowers of Italian Alps.
This is ornamental flowering plant that is native of South Africa (this is the reason for the title “Outlanders” ), but…. it is found very often also in the Italian Alps. This is mostly known as Purple Ice Plant!
The contrast between purple and stone creates the perfect frame both on my painting and in nature!
